As per initial reports, at about 4:30 PM one teenager namely Nazir Ahmad son of Farid Ahmad Bimla resident of Sundbrari, Kokernag while walking by a channel slipped and drowned. Locals there tried to rescue him but failed to save his life, reports reaching KNO said.
